At the Impiana Cherating lobby

Last school holidays 20-22Aug we went to Impiana Cherating, the place was a little bit old but comfortable enough for us. We did not mind at all but we were there mainly because of the beach and turtle experience. We were told to be prepared for a miserable time as it would be monsoon and it's already the end of turtle season..so we went with no expectations at all. But thankfully we did not see a single drop of rain there and the turtle sanctuary nearby the resort had plenty of baby turtles and even a hatchery next to it. It was quite fun to have the chance to actually hold the baby turtles and releasing them back into the sea, hoping that they will somehow survive the big ocean and come back years later to lay their eggs here on our shores. The sanctuary staff informed us that they release the baby turtles at 10.30pm and anyone could join in for free. But on the side, one of them can do a special arrangement for an earlier time at a fee..we paid lah because we were not keen to come back at 10.30pm and may not get to see much in the dark. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope we can all make it there again..
