All those marathon runs and walks that your mother did must have made the climb easy. who took the pics? any of you kids climbed the mountain with her?
wow...cool! I really hope to make it there one day..when they build a cable car right to the top.
silin: us children stayed at home where it was safe and warm :D pix were taken by her friend. it took them 3-4 hours from base camp to peak, so they missed the sunrise. shame.
alice nojey: i think there's a chair on wheels connected to that rope in the last picture. you sit in it and tug the rope so the bells ring on the other end and whoever's on the top will pull you up. sez me :D
nice to know we lazy ones are thought of and catered for..make sure got snacks oso ah :-)
